Launched after Trump's inauguration the Ad sparked conversation around being a rallying cry for those redefining the cultural makeup of America through dedication and hard work.

IT WAS AN INCREDIBLY FAST TIMELINE BUT AN INCREDIBLY COOL PROJECT SINCE WE GOT TO MEET THE BEST UP-AND-COMING VIRGINIA BEACH ARTISTS.

Role: Copywriter for the rollout of the “Es Nuestro Momento” campaign.

Our challenge was to position Buchanan's Whisky at the centre of Hispanic culture in the United States. We created an overarching campaign with the call to action 'Es Nuestro Momento' (It's Our Time) to directly acknowledge the changing face of America. Es Nuestro Momento illustrated the sense of inclusivity and pride that comes with being Latino in the United States today. After recent collaborations with Pharrell Williams and Justin Bieber Colombian pop star J Balvin was recruited to front the campaign. He epitomises the heights that Latinos can scale, not just in the U.S. but across the entire world.

The campaign was lead by TV and Outdoor to introduce the new brand positioning. This included being broadcast in Spanish during the Baseball World Series between the Chicago Cubs and the Cleveland Indians on the English speaking Fox Sports network.

I mainly worked on a creator's competition. Where dreamers could download J Balvin's vocal tracks, lay a beat on it and upload it as their song feat. J Balvin.

In 2020 I freelanced with Anomaly to create a Holiday Spot for Captain Morgan.

When it comes to multicultural work, the task warrants the work to anchor itself on an insight that rings true to the culture. In this case, to the Spanish-speaking adult-youth living in the US.

Together we wrote “Measuring System” inspired on “Medir a Ojo” a practice widely used across cultures but, the latino culture strongly identifies with. Medir a Ojo - teaches recipes by using your (gut) internal measuring system, it even comes with it’s own terms for measure: a bit, a dash, a little of this and that.

This Hispanic Heritage Month is happening amidst a global pandemic, which is why Google is helping the Latino community continue to thrive with tools for economic recovery.

This project was led by Lover’s Not Haters Agency, and the Google creative team. Editing by Baby Lion, Animation by MAKE.

I was involved in the conception and creation of these ads, starting with the writing of the manifesto for the creative platform, scouting of real locations, and the social media campaign roll-out.

Every year the Texas Lottery helps fund schools and Veteran programs in Texas. We thought of this idea with Fernando Suárez and I had the opportunity to work with Reel FX and Advertising and Film Production Company in Dallas known for working on projects like Despicable Me, Ice Age and The Book of Life.

Role: Illustrator. While working as a Senior Copywriter I volunteered to work on some illustration explorations for our New York Life Insurance brand. The purpose was to better explain products and concepts that are harder to communicate through a picture. Like death! or retirement!

While working with ACE content, Ashley Furniture approached us to create a Novela concept for a YouTube media run.

We originally devised Add Drama to Your Digs for this campaign concept, which transcreated into Decora Con Pasión.

The scene opens with a heated argument between a couple that, twist, takes place in an Ashley Furniture store and revolves around the furniture.

The Woman Card Project is a deck of cards made by illustrators who support gender equality. The deck features women (or more colloquially: Yas queens) who have changed their industry and continue to spark change around the world.

The project initiative was taken by Maddy Kramer and I assisted with Illustrator sourcing and Illustrating myself the first batch of cards.

The project was triggered by comments made in regard to Hillary Clinton stating that her running for the candidacy was not earned by hard work but by her gender/ Woman Card.

This deck aims to turn negatives into positives by calling out damaging gender stereotypes and reminding girls and children that prejudices can be beaten and values can be renewed and taught.
